| Nordic Gerontological Federation offers 16 grants (2 per Nordic country, plus 2 each for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) for the participation at the 19. Nordic Congress in Gerontology, Oslo, Norway, May 25-28, 2008 • Each grant is NOK 4000. In addition, the ones awarded the grant will not pay the congress fee. • The following can apply for a grant: Gerontologists with short field seniority, who does not have a superior position, and who has difficulties getting the expenses covered by their employer. Previous grant winners cannot apply for another grant. It is a pre-requisition that applicants submit an abstract together with the grant application. The grant will not be awarded without an approved abstract. • The application, stating the reason for applying – also including name, age, education, employment situation and number of years within gerontological research/development work – should be sent, together with the abstract, to e-mail address: post@19nkg.no • The applications will be evaluated by the six Norwegian representatives in NGFs professional board and NGFs chairman, Lars Andersson.
